Scott Bricklin: Press

I remember Scott since his days with the band, Bricklin, which was one of the many great bands that came of Philly. This 12 song solo cd by him is greatness to be reckoned with.  I must admit, the hooks really fly on the cd and it hits you right where you belong. MIRACLES, the intro song, puts you in a Tom Petty zone with all the reflections  and the flow just carries you away. You'll love it, no doubt.  DOWN FOR THE COUNT has a great piano intro and you hear hints of the Beatles and the song is very simple and right on target. THEN AND NOW is story in itself as Scott shows himself and the meaning  of then and now. Listen close and I bet you can relate. JESUS ON THE METRO is a great tale about making his way in the world and running late and out of time on the metro. Hint: Face in the crowd. STARBREAKER is a laid back song and you can hear the weary feelings in the song. Nice, sinple and sweet as he tells the tale and story of what could've been. EVERY LITTLE THING is a bluesy type tune that will carry you away and will make you float away to a zone where you probably haven't been in long, long time and it goes through steps and you just need to keep up with the pace and walk with it. What a superb cd, to say the least. I highly recommend this cd to everyone....you'll love it. I want to thank SCOTT for sending me a copy of his cd.....my hats off to you my friend. Great job, to say the least. www
